Pet Grooming

Routine pet grooming is essential to your pet's hygiene and health. Washing and brushing your pet helps to keep matted fur from developing. Severely matted dogs lack insulation from the heat or cold  because air cannot circulate through their coats of fur. It is recommended that pets be groomed once a month, or sometimes more frequently if needed.

Our grooming facility provides the following services:

• Dog and cat grooming
• Individual bathing
• Heat drying
• Combing, brushing, detangling
• Shaves, cuts, and styles to suit your pet
• Nail trimming
• Personal accommodations as requested
• Nail Polish
• A flea free environment.  Every pet that is here for grooming will receive a Capstar pill that will kill any adult fleas on the pet.

Pet Grooming Days and Times:

• Grooming is done on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Drop off times are between 8:15 am and 1:00 pm on Mondays, and Thursdays
• Drop off times on Fridays are between 6:45 am and 1:00pm

Pet Grooming Prices:

Prices for grooming are dependent upon a number of factors. Most basic groomings that include the full bath and hair cut start at $28.00 Prices vary depending on size of animal, condition of fur, and personality of animal.

Pet Grooming Tips:

• Start your pet at a young age so that they learn to enjoy the grooming experience
• Play with puppies and kittens paws from an early age, you can even start clipping the tips so they get used to it.
• Brush your pet daily
• Clean paws off after coming in when it is wet or snowy outside
• Groom professionally every 6-8 weeks
• Do not use people shampoo on your pets.  It can dry the hair coat out.
• Do not bathe excessively, this too can dry the hair coat out.
• If you notice matting in your pets coat, try and get it out as soon as possible.  Matting can lead to skin sores.
• Proper nutrition is key to a healthy shiny coat.
• Get to know your groomer.  Ask what you can do at home to help make the grooming experience enjoyable for your pet.
